A:  You can list quality individual domains on the homepage in exchange for a reciprocal link.  You can also have DNR host a dedicated sub page listing of your entire portfolio for a small fee.

Q:  If I list my domain portfolio in a Domain Name Reserve subpage, how can buyers contact me?
A:  You can include contact information in your hosted sub page or link to your sales pages at other domain name auction houses such as Sedo, Afternic, or Bido. For individual listings we will forward inquires we receive to your email address.

Q:  Do I have to pay a commission to DNReserve.com if I sell my domain name through a contact from the site?
A:  No.  Unlike other domain marketplaces that charge a 10-30% commission on domain sales, the Domain Name Reserve is completely free from commissions.

Q:  How much does it cost to privately list my domain(s) in the Domain Name Reserve?
A:  Pricing varies based on the quality of your domain names and number of listings. Please contact us for a quote.

Q:  How long will my listing remain active?
A:  Your listing will remain on the site for 1 year unless you cancel before then. Please contact us if your domain sells to prevent stale listings.

Q:  Why was my domain rejected?
A:  We recommend that you list your domains with attractive prices to encourage sales.  If your domain has an unrealistic price it will be rejected.  Domains of poor quality can also be rejected. Don’t get offended. Typical rejection rates are about 75%.

Q:  How do I know what price to ask for my domain?
A:  We recommend the following domain name appraisal services: Estibot (free), JudgeName ($), and Sedo ($$)

Q:  How do I buy or make an offer on a domain name?
A:  Send a message to DNReserve.com using either the contact form or email to sales @ DNReserve.com and we’ll relay your message to the seller. You can chose to remain anonymous or to have the domain owner contact you directly if he/she would like to proceed with a transaction.

Q:  How do I pay for a domain name?
A:  You can chose to use Escrow.com or PayPal MassPay (if you have a Premier or Business account with PayPal).  Using Escrow.com usually takes 2-3 days and would cost the buyer about 3% of the price for the escrow fee.  The fee for PayPal MassPay is just $1 and the domain can be transferred the same day.  Other options may be available at the discretion of the seller.

Q:  Why does it cost money for me to privately list my domain name portfolio?
A:  We charge a fee to prevent sellers from listing low quality domains.  Also, since we don’t collect sales commissions, its a way to continue to fund the operation of the site.

Q:  I have many domains I want to list. Do you offer a bulk rate?
A:  The best option for those wanting to list a large number of domain names is to purchase your own hosted subpage where you can list an unlimited quantity of domains.

Q:  Can I change my listing after its entered?
A:  Yes, occasional changes are acceptable. You must provide an entire updated page (not individual listings) in an easy to publish format however.

Q:  What do I do after I sell a domain?
A:  Pat yourself on the back and send us a message so that we can deactivate your listing and list your domain in the recent sales list. Hopefully you will use the money you saved by not having to pay a commission to replenish your portfolio with another quality domain names listed on the Domain Name Reserve.

Q:  Is there a format I should follow for my domain listing?
A:  Yes, include the domain name, category, price, and original year of registration. You can include whatever other information you like on hosted subpage.

Q:  Can I list a domain name that matches a Trademark?
A:  No. Domains that are obvious trademark infringers will be rejected. You can list generic domain names that may also have a Trademark registered for the term (i.g. Apple.net). We try our best to screen for TM’s but occasionally some will slip through.  If you find a Trademark domain listed please bring it to our attention.

Q:  Are offers below the asking price accepted?
A:  Possibly.  We will forward your offer the seller and let you know if it is accepted.  Often in this scenario a seller will ask to use your offer as a reserve price and start a public auction for the domain.  You can benefit if their are no other bidders however you also risk losing the domain to another investor by going this route.

A:  Yes.  Domain leasing is available on many domain names and is a smart way to begin immediate development of a website without having to be delayed by obtaining capital.
